Het RDG Trio is een eigentijds Belgisch jazztrio rond drummer Rune De Groote, met Bruno De Smet op piano en Nathan Wouters op contrabas. Het trio brengt lyrische, intens samenhangende muziek waarin moderne jazzinvloeden samensmelten met een uitgesproken eigen signatuur. Hun klank vertrekt vanuit de akoestische jazztraditie, maar blijft voortdurend openstaan voor ritmisch experiment.
Met hun debuutalbum “Echoes of Our Name”, dat eind februari 2026 verscheen, profileert het RDG Trio zich als een nieuwe, veelbelovende stem binnen de Europese jazzscene.
